Our current sermon series is all about ENCOUNTERING JESUS. Experiencing His love and acceptance and purpose just like the characters in the New Testament stories. To get there, we are obviously looking at His word, but we are also watching a great video series called “The Chosen” for some texture and context and to help us relate to Jesus and the people that He met. This week check out episode 6 (you can download the app, watch it on YouTube) and Sunday we’ll talk about what this video, and the Word shows us about who Jesus is and how we can encounter Him.

The diapers that are collected will benefit the Share Center (formally known as the Bulverde Spring Branch Pregnancy Center)! ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO SERVE?
Do you have a heart for families that are struggling with poverty? We are looking for a volunteer to oversee our “CBCB clothes closet”. We collect donated clothes in a bin at church, then sort them, and distribute them to Los Niño’s Children’s Centre, and Church under the Bridge. We have helpers who do most of the work; we’re really just looking for a “team captain”. All that’s required is being available from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays, just some planning, organizing, thinking during the week. If you are interested, or want to talk about it call the church 830-228-5654.
