Last Sunday we talked about Jesus’ Prayer Template. Don’t forget your homework! Pray it every day, maybe even more – but don’t just read the talking points…Dive deeper into each topic…Throw in some witty banter! Join us this next Sunday we’ll look at another “way to pray”.
LOS NIÑOS CHRISTMAS STAR PROGRAM
Next weekend we have another opportunity to be the hands of Jesus during the holiday season. Each Wednesday we partner with one of our local outreach ministries, Children’s Center Los Niño’s through food distribution to local children and their families. In Matthew 2 we read about the wise men following the STARto Bethlehem, where they found Jesus, rejoiced exceedingly at His birth, worshipped Him, and presented Him with the gifts they had brought. The STARwas the guiding light from God that led them to the greatest gift they would ever receive. Each one of us can be a STAR (Serve Together And Rejoice) by stopping by the table in the lobby and picking up one or more STAR(s) next weekend. Each STAR has a different need listed on it, for example, it might be:
- Meeting a prayer need for a family
- Supplying personal care items such as shampoo, lotion, wipes, etc.
- Filling a child’s heartfelt request for Christmas
- Making a donation toward any of these needs.
Please stop by the table in the lobby and pick up a STAR next weekend (November 22nd); then return your UNWRAPPED gifts Sunday, November 29th.

Also, this Christmas eve, we’ll be offering a completely new and different online experience (more details coming soon!) Whether it’s online or in-person we hope you’ll make CBCB a part of your Christmas celebration this year!
Typically, we have lots of people come to each one of our Christmas Eve services; we need volunteers to welcome and love those that God leads here that day. If you would like to volunteer to be a greeter, please (click here) and let Jay know which service you’re able to serve at. NEW YOUNG ADULT LIFE GROUP!
We’re super excited about this new life group for young adults who are between the ages of 18-25 and are looking for a good community to get plugged into. This group will meet THIS SUNDAY from 2:00pm-3:00pm at the church in the “Outhouse” building. The purpose of this group is to create a space for young adults to get to know others in the Bulverde area and just do life together.
