We’re so excited about our upcoming series starting January 17th!  We’ll be looking at what it’s like to actually ENCOUNTER JESUS, using an amazing TV mini-series called The Chosen.  You can learn more about The Chosen and download The Chosen App (here).

Thank you for all you’ve done JAY!

As the new year begins, we want to just say a BIG thank you to Jay Clary.  He has tirelessly served for more than 13 years in heading up our Guest Services department.  He’s been here every service:  organizing, training, encouraging, leading, and doing what no one has ever done better – making people feel loved, welcome, and at-home.  Don’t worry, Jay’s not going anywhere – he will always be a huge part of the guest services team and the CBCB family.  We will be standing on his shoulders as we continue to move forward to find even more ways to show people that there really is a place for you here.  Jay, you have been a perfect model of servant-leadership, you’ve laid your gifts down before the Lord and seen him do miracles.  Thanks for your faithfulness and all you’ve done to make CBCB home to so many.  Well done, good and faithful servant (I know that’s going to mean so much more coming from Jesus, but still).

Meet the Nesmith’s!!!  Kendall and Kimbo

We are excited to introduce Kendall and Kimbo Nesmith to you, they are taking over leadership of our Guest Services Department. Just so you can get to know them a little bit……Kendall and Kimbo met 10 years ago through a mutual friend in College Station.  They have been married for 8 years and in those 8 years they have been blessed with 4 beautiful daughters:  Lynley – almost 7; Raelynn – 5; and twins Chyles & Channing – almost 2.  Kendall is from Wortham a small town in east Texas and Kimbo is from Round Rock.  They both accepted Christ as children and have followed Him since!  If you would like to find out how you can volunteer on the guest service team, just (click here) and they’ll get in touch with you and help you find YOUR perfect fit at MyCBCB!  When you see them in the lobby, go up and say hello and see for yourselves what a special couple they are!  Thank you Kendall and Kimbo for stepping into these mighty big shoes that Jay has left behind!
