This Sunday we will wrap up our ENCOUNTERING JESUS series….don’t forget to watch episode 8 this week!
I am a little awed by the way our church responded to some of the needs at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. It is awesome to be a part of such a giving, going, doing church! We had a small “army” of volunteers out there to work on plumbing, and clean up the mess after the water was turned back on. YOU gave sacrificially to replace some of the personal items the kids had ruined by the flooding. Since it often takes several days for contributions to “post”, and since gifts have continued to come in – I’ve had to revise this number total several times – but we are currently at around $9500!
On that note, just for your information: it does often take up to a week for your contributions to post and show up on your giving record. If you ever have any questions about that, please contact our wonderful treasurer: Rietta Cline
We are so excited about Easter at CBCB! We’ll have an online Good Friday service which you’ll be able to experience anytime starting on Good Friday. You don’t want to miss this – we’ll have communion, and really prepare our hearts for the Easter celebration. We’ll also have a great online experience of Easter Sunday morning service. What’s really different, and super exciting is that we will have ONE HUGE LOUD LIVE TOGETHER IN-PERSON Easter service at 10:00am at Ranger Stadium! It’s big enough to handle us ALL TOGETHER! More details to come, but for now:
(1) Plan to COME (in person if you can) (2) start to PRAY for God to do amazing things in us and through us that day and (3) INVITE anyone, everyone who God leads you to. Tell your friends, share our posts, wear a sandwich board – let’s get the word out!
