I’m so excited about our current message series:  God with us.  We’ve seen what a big deal that is, we’ve seen how God is always with us – on mountains and in valleys, at the beach or in the storm.  This week we’ll look at God with us – in success, and in our failures.  If you’ve ever experienced failure, (or if you plan to in the future ?) join us!  Invite someone to church!  Here’s an example of what NOT to say though:  “You should come to CBCB this weekend, Larry’s preaching on failure.”

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE UPDATE

WOW!  Thank you for registering early and “selling out” all three Christmas Eve services!  If you missed out on the registrations, we’ve got you covered!  We have a VERY SPECIAL online service for Christmas Eve!  This isn’t just a Livestream of the in-person services – we’ll have a special service that will be just for everyone joining us online!  Just go to mycbcb.com/Christmas ANYTIME after 1:30 …… online or in person, we hope you will join us for our Christmas Eve celebration at MYCBCB.  We are excited and honored to be a part of your family’s Christmas.

If you are coming to our in-person services be sure to come early, the good seats fill up quickly, and we will be taking a super-quick temperature check.  The service times are:  1:30pm, 3:00pm and 4:30pm and Kids Ministry is available for nursery age up through 1st grade in all services.

Awesome last second gift idea:  Give one of our families the GIFT of loving, and caring for their kids during the Christmas Eve service.  We need a few more volunteers for KidsMin on Christmas Eve.  How about attending 1 service and serving in another service?  The sign-up sheets are at the table beside the KidsMin counter or contact pastor Andrea at kids@mycbcb.com.

We will be having water baptism this Sunday in the 11:15 service; if you are interested in being baptized, please email aa@mycbcb.com and we will contact you.  If you have a child (2nd grade through 5th grade) who is interested in water baptism, please contact Miss Andrea, our KidsMin Pastor at kids@mycbcb.com

“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’”  (Matthew 25:40 NLT)

Did you know that hundreds of people in the City of San Antonio don’t have a place to lay their heads at night or any protection from the cold?  You can make a huge impact on the life of our brothers and sisters suffering from homelessness by providing them with a warm SLEEPING BAG.  CBCB has provided thousands of sleeping bags for the homeless over the last few years!  You can buy 1 or MORE sleeping bags for only $10.00 each!  We will get them ordered, received, and delivered in Jesus’ name.  This year, it’s easier than ever – we’re doing this drive ONLINE….click this link, then scroll to the bottom and enter how much you would like to donate (in $10 increments) for sleeping bags. It’s THAT easy to make a difference in someone’s life!

There is a place for YOU AT MYCBCB!  We have a “mask required” section and a “non-mask required” section.  We want YOU to feel safe!  BE SURE AND SAVE YOUR SEAT FOR THIS SUNDAY’S SERVICE BY (clicking here).  **Remember if you have children in the KidsMin program to reserve their spot early in the link above for the 2nd service. **

Don’t forget to make a reservation for your kids (11:15am service only & by RESERVATION ONLY).  Space is limited due to social distancing so be sure to make your reservation early by clicking here to reserve a spot for your child(ren).
