Hey Church Fam –
It’s Mike. I hacked Larry’s email while he’s in Kenya to make sure everyone knew a couple of things in regards to this weekend at church.
Before I even get into those details we just want to give a big thank you to everyone that participated in our Chosen event so far. We have over 200(!) children sponsored from our village in Mwala, Kenya and the number keeps going up! Just when we think y’all can’t get any more awesome-er…you go and do something like this. Y’all are the best! Larry and Margaret are making their way back home from an amazing time in Kenya and they are coming with pics of your kids that chose you!
This leads us to our our important weekend news:
First, we have no service this Saturday at 5p. Instead, we will have two services on Sunday at 930 & 1115. Worship is gonna be amazing and Larry is gonna have a great word!
Second, at those celebration services you will be able to pick up your envelope (after the message) in the lobby and see and read all about the child that chose you and how to communicate with them! If you didn’t get a chance to sign up to be Chosen, no worries! We will have photo booths ready and you can still sign up. We anticipate a big crowd so I’d recommend getting there a little early.
If you want to sign up to be Chosen but can’t make service OR just can’t wait you can go here and sign up and submit pic of your family to be Chosen. You will then receive back in the mail an envelope with a pic of your new fam member that chose you along with info on how to communicate with him/her.
Okay, that’s it. Don’t tell Larry I hacked into his email. I don’t want to get grounded. 😉
