There’s a lot going on at YOUR CBCB, both near and far!
Close to home:
Connection 101 is Feb 5 at 12:41. Sign up this weekend for this luncheon to learn all about history, vision and how you can plug into CBCB. Childcare and lunch are provided. Just sign up on connection card this weekend or reply to this email
TAILGATE party after the 5:00 service on Feb 4th. Wear your favorite team gear. Even if your team is out, show the love. (I’m still hoping for a Cowboys comeback). We’ll have a huge bonfire, roast hotdogs, make smores, hot chocolate bar, bounce houses, should be a fun chance to get to know your brothers and sisters in Christ!
God is also working through CBCB in far away places:
The Children’s Heart Project update: Peter (3 year old boy from Uganda here for heart surgery) is doing GREAT! What an amazing ministry. Want to know more? Debra Richardson with Samaritan’s Purse will be here with a special guest: Sheena Basemeera from Uganda. Sheena is not only a spokesperson for this ministry – she will also tell you about her own heart surgery! It’ll be between services at 10:30-10:45 in Portable building #3.
Please join ImaniXchange/Imani + Kids for a Swahili luncheon at River Crossing Club onFebruary 18 at 12 pm to hear CBCB missionary Jenny Nuccio share the heart and vision of the woman empowerment program she operates in Kenya. Seating is limited and is $12 per plate for this fun cultural event offering a silent auction, door prizes, take-home gifts, and great fellowship. PS: we’ll be celebrating the life of Christian Ramey Saturday at 11 am. Please show your love and support for this family if you are able to come.
See you this weekend!
