I’m so excited about the sermon series we’ll begin this week! It’s all about Matthew 1:23 and the prophecy that was fulfilled with the birth of Jesus. “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’” Beginning Sunday – let’s explore what it means to have God with us.

It’s not too late to be a part of our Be A STAR churchwide Christmas blessing this year. You can bring your UNWRAPPED gifts either Wednesday, December 2ndfrom 8:30am-11:00am at the back entrance of the church or Sunday, December 6th at the BE A STAR table before and after both services. Did you know that hundreds of people in the City of San Antonio don’t have a place to lay their heads at night or any protection from the cold? You can make a huge impact on the life of our brothers and sisters suffering from homelessness by providing them with a warm SLEEPING BAG. CBCB has provided thousands of sleeping bags for the homeless over the last few years! You can buy 1 or MORE sleeping bags for only $10.00 each! We will get them ordered, received, and delivered in Jesus’ name. This year, it’s easier than ever – we’re doing this drive ONLINE….click this link, then scroll to the bottom and enter how much you would like to donate (in $10 increments) for sleeping bags. It’s THAT easy it is to make a difference in someone’s life.
Communion will be served this Sunday. If you are unable to attend church “in-person”, I’d like to invite you to get your communion elements ready so you can join with us in remembering what Jesus did for us on the cross. We can share communion together during our live stream at myCBCB.com at 9:30 am.

Our Middle School Inside/Out group meets in the Outhouse (during 2nd service) and our High School group meets every Wednesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm in the Outhouse.
