Happy Groundhog Day! I’m sure that’s a bigger deal in areas where it’s not 80 degrees in February, but hey–it’s one more thing to celebrate!
There’s a lot going on at CBCB (other than holidays celebrating rodent meteorologists):
Tailgate Party is THIS Saturday after the 5:00 service. We’ll have bounce houses, bonfires, hotdogs, s’mores, a bonfire. The kids can meet real firefighters, and see their amazing firetruck. Come, meet some people, roast a marshmallow, have some fun! Still believing in the Cowboys? Show your support–wear your team gear! Everyone is welcome-Cowboy fans & heathens alike!
Connection 101 right after the 11:00 service (in the sanctuary). We’ll provide lunch and childcare. Come and learn everything about CBCB, and how YOU can get plugged in. I’ll have you out by 2:00 so you’ll have time to paint your face before the Super Bowl.
Help us celebrate the “first birthday” of The Bulverde/Spring Branch Pregnancy Care Center at the Celebration of LIfe Banquet on March 9 from 6:30-8:30 at Bulverde Baptist Church. This is an amazing ministry in our community that our church supports and loves. We’ll have a table in the lobby this weekend – pick up some info, or sign up. questions? reach out to Carla Clark (email@example.com)
This week’s message is about one of the hardest questions Christians face: “Why Does God Allow Suffering?”. It might not be the funniest message you’ve ever heard, but it’s a topic we all need to face. Sooner or later you will face suffering, how will it affect your faith? Does God even care? How will you get through it? Is there any hope? Know someone who has struggled or is suffering now? Bring them to church.
I can’t wait to see you this week @CBCB!
