Happy Fall!
Fall is here! You can tell because the weather is crisp and cold (it may not go over 90 today!). Also, it’s the time of year at CBCB that we talk about getting CONNECTED. Here are a couple of ways YOU can get connected at CBCB:
1) CONNECTAPALOOZA is this weekend. After church, in the lobby you’ll have the opportunity to find a lifegroup that’s just right for YOU.
2) CONNECTION 101 is coming up on Nov. 3 at 12:45. It’s free lunch and childcare and a chance for you to learn all about CBCB. Thinking about membership? Just want to know more about CBCB? Join us! Just check the Connection 101 box on your connection card this weekend so we have enough prime rib and lobster (or sandwiches – TBD).
3) MEN – we need to be connected. This Wed – join me for a Bible study in P-3. We are going to learn to read the Bible for all it’s worth! Pizza @ 6, Bible study starts at 6:30. ALSO, MEN – join us for a fun retreat Oct 25-27. Click HERE for info & to register.
4) Are you 50+? Are you ready for Fall? Come join us on October 18th as we celebrate Fall with delicious food, pumpkins, desserts and hopefully, a little cooler weather! (I know, I know……. wishful thinking on the cooler weather.) TJ Dolotina performs classic hits from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s with the look, style and passion of the artists he covers. You will be in awe of his talent!!! Dress is casual! Our event begins at 6:00pm and will end at 8:00. Dinner will be served at 6:30. Chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and cream gravy, green beans, salad, rolls and desserts will be on the menu!! Tickets go on sale, before each service, Oct 5, 6, 12 and 13. Tickets are $10 per person.
