HELP US HELP YOU:
We are always committed to making sure we are meeting the needs of our amazing MyCBCB community.  This year we are determined for your voice to be heard louder than ever before.  We’re doing this by asking everyone over 13 who calls MyCBCB their home church to take a survey to let us know what you think of all aspects of the church (facilities, ministries, friendliness, etc.).  The survey will be open until the end of the month and can be taken on a computer, smart phone, or tablet.  All answers are anonymous.  Honesty is appreciated.  Please CLICK HERE to take this survey.  Please consider taking a few minutes to answer all of the questions so we can do our part to keep MyCBCB the best church ever!
(P.S. – You may be offered another survey after you complete our survey, that survey is from Survey Monkey and NOT from us.)

OUTREACH AT MYCBCB:
This holiday season there are many opportunities for you to give:

  1. Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan’s Purse) – Pack a shoebox with goodies for a child in need from a different country…. IF you missed getting a shoebox last week, we have a few left, pick it up this weekend.  Bring back the filled shoebox November 17 & 18 & November 23 & 24.
  2. Sleeping Bag drive (CUB) – November 23 & 24 & November 30 & December 1 – Your small donation of $10.00 will purchase a sleeping bag for someone suffering from homelessness in San Antonio.
  3. Canyon Lake Adopt a Child Christmas – Help us give our Canyon Lake friends the Christmas every family deserves by helping out with gifts.  On December 7 & 8 pick-up child information in the lobby and bring the gifts back on December 14 & 15.
  4. Los Ninos Christmas Party – Sign up on a Connection Card to volunteer at this year’s Children’s Centre Los Ninos Christmas Party.  Volunteers are needed for serving dinner and food distribution from 3:00 – 6:30 pm on December 14.

If you took a coat tag to purchase a coat for a child, this is the last weekend to bring the coats back.

MENTORS WANTED:
If you wanted to sign up to be a Mentor for SJRC (formerly St. Jude’s Ranch for Children) last week but missed it, there will be a table in the lobby for you to do that this weekend.  IF YOU DID SIGN UP LAST WEEK TO BE A MENTOR, after each service this weekend, Lee will be available in P-4 for you to complete your paperwork and have it notarized (there will be a notary on site).

BEGINNING THIS SUNDAY…….The Spanish Life Group has moved to Sunday mornings at 9:30 in P-4.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Ben Torres (817-312-1626) or Melva Andrews (210-725-7426).

As you can see there are so many ways to show the love of Jesus in a “real” way.
I can’t wait to see you at CBCB this weekend!
